Saraya’s True Reason For Using WWE Theme In Wrestling Return Revealed

Saraya

Saraya made her wrestling comeback on December 27, 2025, at the Insane Wrestling Revolution (IWR) event in Michigan.

It was her first wrestling appearance since October 2024. She interrupted Pierre Gerin and his group with a low blow, then booked Kenny Urban and AJ Francis against mystery opponents.

She used her old WWE theme “Stars in the Night” as her entrance music, sparking WWE rumors.

Many fans wondered why she used her old WWE theme song and not the AEW theme song.

Why Saraya Used Her WWE Theme Song In Wrestling Return

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp recently commented on the matter, saying that it was just her choice. She ditched her ex-boyfriend’s AEW song for personal reasons, no deeper motive.

Sapp tweeted:

“It was confirmed to Fightful that Saraya using her WWE theme didn’t have a motive beyond her not wanting to use her ex’s song that she used in AEW”

The return came after a year-long hiatus. Saraya left AEW mutually in March 2025 following her Women’s World Championship reign, which peaked at All In London on August 27, 2023.

She focused on her memoir Hell in Boots, podcast Rulebreakers, and recovery from her 2017 neck injury.

In a November 19, 2025, Toronto Sun interview, she announced resuming training in January 2026 at Natalya’s Dungeon 2.0, saying she had the “wrestling bug” again.

As of now, there is no official update on whether she is planning to return to WWE, although she has expressed interest in it.

Fans are hopeful that they might soon see Paige in WWE again.
