Saraya Wants Women’s Tag Titles In AEW
Saraya certainly has the idea of AEW gold in her sights, and wants Tony Khan to introduce Women’s Tag Team Championships.
There are certainly plenty of belts to go for in general in AEW. However, in the men’s division there is gold for both tag teams and trios available, whilst the only belts in the women’s division come for singles competitors.
Saraya has made it clear she wants that changed. In response to a post on social media by AEW celebrating International Women’s Day, the former WWE Divas Champion commented that the company could really celebrate the day by introducing gold for female tag teams.
Perfect way to celebrate would be to bring in Women’s tag titles 💪🏻 https://t.co/rQNtV9tFgx

The likes of Diamante have already been quick to comment in their support of the idea.
The concept of Women’s Tag Team Championships would certainly be an appealing one for Saraya. Despite her unsuccessful attempt to dethrone Jamie Hayter at Revolution, she did gain a new ally in the form of Ruby Soho. The pair had battled each other in the match, but Soho quickly attacked Hayter and lined up alongside Saraya and Toni Storm in the ring, giving even more options for how the trio could form in to a successful tag team.
After Ruby Soho’s actions at Revolution, she is set to be in singles action on the 8th March 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite when she goes up against Skye Blue.
