Saraya Still Teasing WWE Return Despite Shock Signing

Former AEW star Saraya has once again teased a return to WWE despite news breaking of the company making a surprise signing.

Saraya hasn’t been seen on AEW television since losing a four-way match on the October 8 2024, edition of Dynamite, and now it’s been confirmed she won’t be returning at all. Saraya previously admitted that she didn’t feel there was a spot in AEW for her right now, and took that as her cue to leave the company altogether.

In one report after her exit Saraya’s management team was quoted as saying, “I can confirm we’ve mutually agreed to part ways. Her services have been fulfilled and we are parting on excellent terms” before confirming that the English star is now a free agent. That means Saraya could be in line for a swift return to her former home in WWE where she was known as Paige.

Saraya Still Open To WWE Comeback

Now she’s teased such a return, responding to one fan who posted a previous clip of the star making a surprise comeback to WWE on social media and wrote “i don’t think no woman will ever top this return idk.” Saraya replied:

However, some fans might be surprised to see Saraya still openly teasing a return to her former company after WWE signed a deal with Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio is the current AAA Mega Champion and a major star in the promotion that WWE has just acquired.

Saraya and Del Rio were part of a public relationship between 2016 and 2017, which ended on bad terms. Del Rio later threatened to expose her for previous arrests and at one point accused her of domestic violence. Despite his deal with WWE, it is not known if he will appear on any of the company’s shows or if it is just to tie him to AAA under its new ownership.
