Saraya Admits Legitimately Angering Current WWE Star During Match

Saraya recalled the time when her action in a match upset one of WWE’s biggest female stars ever.

When Saraya was in WWE as Paige, she won the Divas Title at just 21 years old. She would go on to work for WWE on the main roster for about 8 years before leaving in 2022, in part due to a neck injury.

Due to her love of wrestling, Saraya was able to come back from the neck injury and worked for AEW, where she became AEW Women’s World Champion.

Now a free agent, Saraya told a story on the Daria & Toni Unwrapped podcast hosted by former WWE superstar Sonya Deville about how she upset former Women’s Champion Natalya in a match.

“So we were in Canada and I was the heel and I was wrestling Nattie and stuff like that. And for some reason, they (the fans) were chanting for me a little bit more. So I was like ‘Oh my God,’ so I tried to amp it up a little bit. So I was like, ‘She’s old, she’s this, she’s that.’ Just saying all this s**t, and not meaning it or anything like that.”

Saraya’s Actions During The Match Upset Natalya

As she continued the story, Saraya revealed that Natalya didn’t take kindly to some of the remarks that Saraya made during the match.

“And I remember coming backstage and like she comes up to me like Nattie mad. And she was just like, ‘I didn’t like the way you were talking to me out there.’ And I was like, ‘Nattie, I don’t mean it. I was just trying to get heat.’

She was like, ‘I just don’t like it, it just felt too like,’ and she was uncomfortable with it, which I respect. I was like, ‘Hey, if there’s something you don’t want me to do then just let me know.’ But she was really hot about it. Again, this is Nattie, she doesn’t stay mad for long. Love you, Natters.”

Saraya also shared a story about a moment in her WWE career that got her n**ples hard because she’s not afraid to say pretty much anything.
