AEW Full Gear: Saraya Lands First Win In Professional Wrestling Since 2017

Making her in-ring return after five years of inaction at All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear pay-per-view event, Saraya — formerly known as Paige in WWE — was victorious in her match against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

To seal the deal for the AEW Full Gear win over Baker, Saraya landed two craddle DDTs, which was known as the RamPaige during her time in WWE. Throughout the match, Baker had a target on Saraya’s neck, however, the latter would maintain despite the pain, and countered several of Britt’s movies, including a couple of curb stomps.

During the November 9, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite, Saraya made the announcement that was 100% cleared to make her return to the ring. Before AEW Full Gear, Saraya hasn’t been in a match since December 27, 2017. Then, she suffered a neck injury during a WWE house show, which forced her into retirement as far as physical wrestling was concerned. Also, before her 2017 injury, she was out for a year and a half with another neck injury that had her out of the sport from June 2016-December 2017.
