Samoa Joe Becomes AEW’s King Of Television Once Again

Samoa Joe TNT and ROH TV Champion

Samoa Joe’s claim to be the one true King of Television in AEW is legitimate once again as Joe defeated Darby Allin in a violent bout for the TNT Title on Dynamite.

Samoa Joe lost the TNT Championship on the first Dynamite of 2023 to Darby Allin in Allin’s hometown of Seattle and since then, Joe has been on the hunt for revenge.

In Dayton, Ohio he finally got it with the two men squaring off once again for the gold in a No Holds Barred match. Joe re-captured the gold after finishing off Allin with a muscle buster on the exposed wood of the ring, ending the brutal match.

With this win, Samoa Joe now holds the TNT Championship and ROH World Television Championship once again but he did not have time to celebrate for too long. His former partner turned rival Wardlow returned and attempted to exact revenge on the man the defeated him for the TNT Title. Joe escaped while Mr. Mayhem took out security to end the show.

Samoa Joe has recently discussed his WWE exit and says that management factions were at war with each other and those released were the collateral damage.

Elsewhere on Dynamite, it was a battle of two former AEW World Champions once again as Jon Moxley won the rubber match between himself and Hangman Adam Page. Jade Cargill went 50-0 as she defeated Red Velvet and Bryan Danielson continued his march to MJF and the AEW World Championship by defeating Timothy Thatcher.
