Sami Zayn’s Non-PG SmackDown Promo Explained

Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn received a hero’s welcome in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as he returned home on SmackDown and laid down a very simple message for Roman Reigns.

The story of Sami Zayn and The Bloodline has been lauded as one of the finest WWE storylines in decades as week by week the crowd got behind Zayn to see the error of his ways and turn his back on the villainous Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. At the Royal Rumble, they got their wish.

After Reigns defeated Kevin Owens – Zayn’s on/off best friend – The Tribal Chief orchestrated a vicious beatdown of Owens and demanded Sami Zayn finish him off with a steel chair. Instead, Sami Zayn slammed the chair into Reigns’ back, much to the delight of the crowd. That, in turn, earned Zayn a beating from Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns, while Jey Uso – who had previously come to Zayn’s defence – walked off.

On SmackDown in Montreal, Sami Zayn emerged to his old music and a hero’s reception ahead of his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at the Elimination Chamber. The Montreal crowd lost its collective mind when Zayn delivered a message to Reigns in French, which translated to the decidedly non-PG:

“Roman Reigns, listen to me carefully: tomorrow night, you’re in my f*****g house!”

Montreal will be firmly behind Sami Zayn in his title shot and so is Cody Rhodes who told Zayn on Raw that he hopes to see him in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
