This former WWE booker is not a fan of Sami Zayn’s body

SmackDown Star Sami Zayn has always been around in the upper mid-card and main event scene in WWE and is popular among the fans for his compelling character work and high-energy in-ring moves.

The three-time Intercontinental Champion’s body, however, isn’t his strong suit, as one would not marvel at it as compared to the ripped physiques of some of his contemporaries.

Even SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis has a hulking frame and bodybuilder-like physique. This was something that was pointed out by former WWE booker Vince Russo recently on his podcast.

Russo Praises Nick Aldis’ Body While Dissing Sami Zayn’s

The former WCW head writer was watching a recent segment that aired on SmackDown that saw general manager Nick Aldis at Drew McIntyre’s house, trying to negotiate a deal regarding his feud with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Upon watching the segment, Russo praised Aldis’ physique and simultaneously threw shade at Zayn’s.

This guy (Nick Aldis) is busting. His arms are breaking out of his shirt like the Incredible Hulk. I’m looking at him and his arms, and I’m like, ‘This guy is the authority figure, and you got Sami Zayn out there.

Sami Zayn hasn’t competed since the November 21 episode of SmackDown. where he was seen teaming up with The Motor City Machine Guns in a loss to Solo Sikoa’s MFTs. He was also seen in the audience among other WWE legends during John Cena’s final match before retirement.
