Sami Zayn Sidelined From WWE Indefinitely Due To Injury

Sami Zayn is out of WWE indefinitely as things turned from bad to worse for the star on Raw.

Sami Zayn has been dealing with fights on two fronts in recent weeks. Zayn tried to put his issues with Karrion Kross behind him as he picked up a big win at Night of Champions. Later in the night, Zayn made his presence felt in the main event between John Cena and CM Punk for the WWE Championship.

Neither of those men was Zayn’s target, however, as he came to help stop Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed from allowing Rollins to cash in his Money In The Bank contract and win the WWE Title for himself.

But those actions have now come at a serious cost.

Sami Zayn Picked Apart On WWE Raw

On the July 7th edition of Raw, Sami Zayn had a big match against Bron Breakker on his plate despite his ribs being far from 100%. Karrion Kross decided he wasn’t done with Zayn as he smashed a lead pipe into Zayn’s ribs during his entrance for his match.

Sami Zayn would not forfeit, however, and insisted on having his match with Breakker. Breakker quickly picked the bones of Zayn, nailing several more massive spears, further injuring the ribs.

Later in the show, a gloating Paul Heyman noted that Sami Zayn was now out of WWE indefinitely due to his injuries. It remains to be seen how long he will be missing for.
