Sami Zayn Pushing WWE For Unlikely International PLE

Sami Zayn WWE

Sami Zayn has revealed that he’s got a destination in mind for WWE to take a premium live event that might not be the one people would think.

Since WWE was taken over by Endeavor in September 2023, things have changed very quickly. The company is now open to taking major shows around the world and is always looking for the highest bidder. WWE recently held Backlash in France where the raucous crowd stole the show and now Clash at the Castle in Scotland is imminent.

That show will see Drew McIntyre challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship but is far from the only Scot looking for success. Piper Niven will take on Bayley for the WWE Women’s Title while Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn will be part of a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

But Sami Zayn wants to see the company head south.

Sami Zayn Pushes WWE For South America Show

Speaking to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Zayn noted that he’s pushed WWE to take a major show to Santiago, Chile as he believes that audience is one of the most real. WWE has held live events in Chile over the years with the last of those coming in 2019 but it has never held a televised show in the South American country.

Zayn has competed on five of those WWE shows in Chile but first competed there while still known as El Generico all the way back in 2011.

Following WWE’s foray into Scotland, the company will return to Europe at the end of August for Bash In Berlin which will take place in the German capital.
