Sami Zayn Makes WWE Vow After Attack On Raw
Sami Zayn won’t be denied.
On the April 28 edition of Raw, Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman looked to put the next stage of their master plan into action.
This saw the duo attempt to convince Sami Zayn to move to SmackDown. However, Zayn wasn’t having any of their mind games, and he refused to jump to the blue brand, much to the annoyance of Rollins and Heyman.
This set up a match between Zayn and Rollins and Heyman’s third man, Bron Breakker. The match ended with a series of violent spears from Breakker, before Rollins stomped Zayn as the show went off the air.
Sami Zayn Will Become World Champion
Reacting to the attack on social media, Zayn acknowledged that he’s got a target on his back, but promised that he’s going nowhere and remains determined to become World Champion.
Yes, there is a target on my back. Just know this – you can throw everything you’ve got at me, I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I will become a world champion.
Elsewhere on Raw, Becky Lynch cemented her own heel turn by confirming that she attacked Bayley at WrestleMania. Lynch said there would be no long-running saga and mystery, as after reviewing the footage, she could reveal that she was the person who put the former Women’s Champion out of action.
As her rivalry with Lyra Valkyria continues, it’s been announced that Lynch will challenge the Irish star for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Backlash.
