Sami Zayn Reacts To Former WWE Rival Teasing Surprise Appearance
A rival from Sami Zayn’s past might appear at a future show that the Intercontinental Champion will be a part of based on a social media post.
At the last two WrestleManias, Sami Zayn experienced all-time great career moments. At WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn ended the record-breaking 666-day Intercontinental Title reign of GUNTHER.
One year earlier at WrestleMania 39, Zayn and tag team partner Kevin Owens beat The Usos in the Saturday main event while also ending The Usos’ record-breaking Tag Team Title reign.
The WrestleMania 38 match for Zayn was a different story when he lost to actor Johnny Knoxville, who is best known as the star of the “Jackass” series of movies and television shows.
Money in the Bank is heading to Toronto on July 6th with Zayn in action at the show. Two days before that on July 4th, Zayn will be debuting his comedy show Sami Zayn & Friends Do Toronto.
On Twitter/X, Zayn posted an image from Knoxville’s Instagram story teasing a flight from Los Angeles to Toronto.

The reason Sami Zayn would ask something like “WTF is this” is because Johnny Knoxville appeared at Zayn’s first comedy show in Los Angeles back in May. Knoxville appeared in disguise to taunt Zayn while he was on stage.
Obviously, it’s all a comedy show where it is being done for laughs, but clearly, Zayn enjoys working with Knoxville. The Instagram post from Knoxville doesn’t necessarily mean that Knoxville will be at Zayn’s comedy show in Toronto, but it’s certainly a possibility.
Sami Zayn Defending Intercontinental At WWE Money In The Bank
The Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will be in his home country of Canada for the Money in the Bank PLE on July 6th in Toronto. He faces a tough test in that Intercontinental Title match because he’ll be against rising star Bron Breakker, who will get his first shot at a championship on the main roster.
