Sami Zayn Finally Comments After Raw Betrayal
It’s been a rollercoaster time for Sami Zayn of late, and he’s finally commented on being betrayed earlier this week.
Sami Zayn eventually made it clear which side he was on at the Royal Rumble, where he faced the final test from Roman Reigns. Refusing to assist in the beatdown of Kevin Owens, he took one himself and was left laying. This led to a title opportunity against ‘The Head Of The Table’ at Elimination Chamber, which despite his popularity with the fans was again unsuccessful.
It has been even tougher for Zayn of late, as it has seemed that Kevin Owens didn’t want his assistance in standing up against The Bloodline. Indeed this was again the case on the 6th March 2022 edition of Monday Night RAW, where Owens rejected a handshake from Zayn after the latter had evened the odds against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
Sami Zayn would go on to compete in the main event of the show, where he took on Jimmy Uso. During the match Jimmy’s brother Jey appeared in the crowd, once again causing tension around which side he was on. He would go on to embrace Zayn at ringside, before performing the ultimate betrayal and attacking him, where The Usos were joined by Solo Sikoa. It took Cody Rhodes hitting the ring to make the save.
It has taken a couple of days, but Sami Zayn has now commented on the betrayal on social media, posting a picture on Instagram of his embrace with Jey Uso with the simple caption “emotions”.
Many are of the belief that this will all keep boiling until WrestleMania, where Sami Zayn will eventually team with Kevin Owens to take on The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Although the match hasn’t been confirmed, all the signs are pointing in the right direction for the contest to happen at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.
