Sami Zayn Charity Raffle Scrapped Due To Cease & Desist

Sami Zayn had been working with Pro Wrestling Tees to raise money for his Sami For Syria charity but the t-shirt raffle has been pulled due to a legal threat.

Sami Zayn is the child of Syrian immigrants and he has used his profile to launch the Sami For Syria charity to provide mobile clinics in the country that has been gripped by civil war and almost constant unrest in recent years.

As part of that effort Sami Zayn, in conjunction with Pro Wrestling Tees, had launched a raffle for fans to potentially win a signed ‘My Dawg’ shirt from his days in The Bloodline. The shirt had been signed by Zayn as well as the entire Bloodline along with other WWE stars and even AEW’s Kenny Omega.

However, one fan who bought tickets for the raffle contacted Pro Wrestling Tees to ask why they had received an email telling them the raffle had been canceled and refunds being given. The response was posted online and the company noted that they had been issued with a cease and desist meaning they had to pull the raffle.

Sami Zayn seemingly responded to the news as he posted a message on social media simply reading “MAN WTF.”

There has been no word where the cease and desist came from or if the raffle will be able to take place at a later date.
