Rumblings In WWE Over Corey Graves Unhappiness

Corey Graves

Corey Graves has let his feelings known on his current position in WWE and it seems there have been issues for quite some time.

The announce desks have seen quite the changes in the last few months in WWE. Joe Tessitore joined the company as Raw’s lead announcer but with the Monday night show starting its multi-billion dollar deal on Netflix, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee have taken over duties on WWE’s flagship show.

At NXT New Year’s Evil, Corey Graves returned to the brand where he made his name as he joined Vic Joseph and Booker T on commentary. Graves was a part of SmackDown’s commentary team on January 3 but it seems that might be his last appearance on the show for now.

The January 10 edition of SmackDown saw Tessitore and Wade Barrett take on commentary duties in a two-man booth and Corey Graves has now blasted WWE for his current role publicly.

WWE Rumblings Over Corey Graves

A report from PWInsider has lifted the lid on what has been going on and it seems Graves’ outburst might not be a complete surprise to those in WWE. The report noted that there had been “rumblings over the last several weeks” that Graves was not happy with how he had been positioned in the company.

Corey Graves is currently scheduled to be part of the January 14 edition of NXT once again and it remains to be seen if WWE will take any action over the public display of displeasure. It should be noted that Corey Graves has famously hit out on social media before admitting that it was all a work.
