Roxanne Perez Names New Four Horsewomen Of NXT

Roxanne Perez raises NXT Women's Title

Roxanne Perez has given her thoughts on the rise of NXT.

In recent months the NXT women’s division has gone from strength to strength. Headed up by Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, the brand is now packed with some of the best young talent in North America, alongside new WWE signings Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Zaria.

The strength of the division has led to comparisons to the brand’s black and gold heyday when it was led by WWE’s Four Horsewomen, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) Bayley, and Becky Lynch.

During an appearance on the In The Kliq podcast, Perez said she agreed with the idea that she’s part of the new Four Horsewomen alongside Giulia, Cora Jade, and Stephanie Vaquer. She added that the NXT women’s division is now the best in the world, in large part thanks to the quartet.

“I actually saw a post about this the other day, and I agree with it very much. It would be me, Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia.

I feel like we’re a little alike in different ways, in the same way being that we have always wanted to be a part of the WWE since we were young, we put in those years, those 1,000 hours to become great, and now we’re able to be a part of the greatest women’s division in the world. I think that that has a lot to do with us four women.”

Throughout October, Perez and Jade have been teaming together to tackle Vaquer and Giulia with their latest battle coming at Halloween Havoc.

Roxanne Perez Stays In NXT As Four Move On

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that four NXT stars have been quietly moved to the main roster following a series of appearances on SmackDown.

According to the report, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson have been called up, and they’ll be joined by their partners in the Meta-Four Naom Dar and Oro Mensah. Legend and Jackson were most recently in action at Crown Jewel where they challenged for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

The pair have appeared regularly on SmackDown since the start of October.
