Ronda Rousey Takes Massive Shot At Roman Reigns & WWE Superstars

Ronda Rousey left WWE in 2023.

Her match in WWE was at SummerSlam 2023, where she lost to Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules match.

Her exit was driven by frustration with the company’s creative process and demanding schedule.

She cited repeated broken promises on key storylines, like a full Four Horsewomen match, forcing her to issue an ultimatum for her final bout.

Neurological injuries from MMA and wrestling, including concussions she hid, accumulated and made the grueling travel incompatible with family life.

Post-WWE Rousey also slammed Vince McMahon’s management as mediocre and sexist.

That said, Rousey recently appeared on Episode #700 of comedian Bert Kreischer’s ‘Bertcast’.

During their chat, Kreischer tried to recall who the men’s world champion was during Rousey’s run in the company, but he couldn’t remember a single name.

Ronda burst out laughing and said:

“The fact that you can’t recall it makes it so funny because I think a lot of people in the WWE think they’re a lot bigger stars than they are.” [H/T Fightful]

Though the comment did not specifically target anyone, Ronda’s taunt indirectly landed on stars like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, who were champions at that time.

Ronda Rousey Could Return To WWE

Ronda Rousey’s ex-tag team partner, Shayna Baszler, recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast.

She was asked if she thinks Ronda was truly done with WWE. Baszler stated that she believes Ronda will return to WWE in the future.

“I never think Ronda is done. She’s a crazy person. I don’t know. She loves being a mom. It would take a bit, but CM Punk came back. Ronda Rousey can come back.” H/T chrisvanvliet.com
