Ronda Rousey is among the few people who have worked for both Dana White in UFC and Vince McMahon in WWE.

She was the first Women’s Bantamweight Champion and held it till her loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015.

She spent time away from the sport for more than a year, returning at UFC 207 to unsuccessfully challenge Amanda Nunes.

After dropping the curtains on her MMA career, she transitioned to WWE under McMahon and made an appearance during the 2018 Royal Rumble.

While competing as a talent on the roster, she won the World Championship thrice across both RAW and SmackDown and was the Women’s Tag Team Champion once with Shayna Baszler.

Ronda Rousey Compares WWE And UFC Bosses

Ronda Rousey has had multiple stints with the Stamford promotion, during which she was critical of being mismanaged. She even called Vince McMahon a ‘pervert’ after allegations of sexual assault surfaced against him, leading to his resignation.

Ronda Rousey recently appeared on Bert Kreischer‘s podcast, where she highlighted the difference between UFC under Dana White and WWE under Vince McMahon.

Dana White wants his company to be as successful as possible and make as much money as possible. I think he’s got a lot to prove in that space. He’s got that new money kind of veneer. He wants to earn his respect in that space with all of his peers.

I think Vince didn’t really care how successful the company [was] or how much money he was making. He cared about how much influence he had on other people culturally. He was trying to impress his viewpoint on the world on everybody else through that. The bottom line be damned. [H/T: MMA Fighting]

She also claimed that without Dana White, the Ultimate Fighting Championship would lose its soul.
