Ronda Rousey Quits ‘AMA’ After Relentless Sandy Hook Questions

Ronda Rousey WWE

Former WWE and UFC champion Ronda Rousey has been forced to abandon a social media ‘Ask Me Anything’ as she was inundated about controversial remarks she made in the past.

Ronda Rousey was UFC’s biggest star in the mid-2000s as she rode a wave of success to change mixed martial arts forever. From there, Rousey starred in movies before joining WWE in 2018. Rousey became one of the first women to headline WrestleMania in 2019 alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

However, for a lot of people, Ronda Rousey’s reputation was tarnished irreparably when she amplified by retweeting a video suggesting the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was staged with Rousey also noting the video was “interesting.”

On December 14th, 2012 a lone gunman entered Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed 26 members of staff and children after murdering his own mother. It is the deadliest mass shooting in an elementary school in US history.

Ronda Rousey Taps Out On AMA

So when Ronda Rousey attempted to ingratiate herself with wrestling fans by taking part in an ‘AMA’ on Reddit’s Squared Circle forum, rather than get the chance to promote the crowdfunder for her first graphic novel called Expecting The Unexpected, she had to abandon things in short order as she was inundated with questions relating to Sandy Hook and her beliefs on the tragedy.

Ronda Rousey recently called Vince McMahon an “80-year-old a**hole” as she reflected on the reason why a WWE dream match didn’t happen.
