Ron Killings Announces Return Of Beloved WWE Character After 3 Years

Ron Killings

It is fair to say that Ron Killings’ return since his firing has been underwhelming.

After featuring him in top-tier feuds, including a couple with John Cena, WWE appears to have relegated Killings to the mid-card.

The 53-year-old has always been known for his comedic segments rather than serious ones.

One of his most popular gimmicks involved Little Jimmy, an invisible friend he would talk to, leaving his peers scratching their heads.

Ron Killings recently appeared on the No Holds Barred podcast, looking his jolly self as opposed to his in-ring gimmick of late, which is morose.

He was asked about Little Jimmy, a character that hasn’t been referenced in WWE for three years.

To this, Killings gave a surprising reply.

Little Jimmy is here, dawg. He’s in there cooking. He cooking some eggs…and he grew up a little bit. He don’t talk, but he grew up a little. [5:09 onwards]

Ron Killings Appears Directionless

Former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman questioned WWE’s handling of Ron Killings since bringing him back after his firing in early June.

He even went to the lengths of calling him an afterthought.

This is what happens and this is why guys over the years, we’ve seen a million of them. Not me because I was always used in every storyline. But guys that sit on the side and then they say well, I’m not being used. So if you’re Ron Killings right now and you’re walking in, I’m sure he thought man they made a mistake, I’m front page news, I get to wrestle John Cena, I’m going to be used – he’s an afterthought.

They said we need a match halfway through SmackDown to get from B to C, so we’ll use Ron Killings.

A few weeks ago, Killings seemed to be developing a feud with Aleister Black. However, even in that rivalry, he seems to have taken a backseat with Damian Priest as the main protagonist.
