Roman Reigns’ WWE Status Reportedly Changed
Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE TV since the RAW after WrestleMania.
The OTC has been working a lighter schedule in recent years. However, this year has seen him compete in only three matches in six months.
Reigns last wrestled at WrestleMania 41 when he squared off with CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat match, which saw his former Wiseman, Paul Heyman, betray him to align with The Visionary.
The 40-year-old attempted to get revenge on Rollins and Heyman on the following episode of RAW but was destroyed by Bron Breakker, who revealed himself as Rollins’ ally. He has since disappeared from all WWE programming.
According to WrestlingNewsCo, the former Undisputed WWE Champion has now become a special attraction, similar to what Brock Lesnar was in the past few years.
The former leader of The Bloodline is currently expected to return in the build to SummerSlam.

Will Roman Reigns return for the King of the Ring tournament?
WWE launched the King of the Ring tournament ahead of Night of Champions. As first-round matches were announced, the bracket revealed that a mystery superstar would compete in the Fatal 4-Way match involving Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed.
Speaking on The Last Word podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci suggested Roman Reigns could be the mystery competitor in the King of the Ring tournament.
The former WWE Senior Director of International Television claimed The OTC could win the tournament to start his new reign, predicting that it would be a great surprise for the fans.
Here’s the thing; what if it’s Roman (Reigns) and he goes on to be the King and that starts his new reign as what he’s gonna be because we have no idea where he is, what he’s doing.
He would be a great surprise. The roof will blow off when his entrance music comes out because we haven’t seen him since WrestleMania, I don’t think, right? And it would be phenomenal. So, it could be Roman Reigns.
