Roman Reigns Comments On “Family Issues” Ahead Of WWE Smackdown Return

Roman Reigns has some more family issues to deal with as he returns to television on the June 16th edition of WWE Smackdown.

The “Tribal Chief” Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is back on tonight’s June 16th edition of Smackdown in Lexington, Kentucky.

Two weeks ago on the June 2nd edition of Smackdown, Reigns was presented with a brand new Undisputed WWE Universal Title to replace the two titles (WWE & Universal) that he was carrying around.

However, the bigger story on that night was when Jimmy Uso stood up to his cousin Roman while Jey Uso refused to attack his brother like Roman wanted. Solo Sikoa (the younger brother of The Usos) proved his loyalty to Reigns by taking out Jimmy while Reigns believed that Jey would come around.

Last week’s Smackdown on June 9th saw the “Wise Man” Special Counsel Paul Heyman tell Jey Uso that Roman Reigns got him a shot at the US Title by Austin Theory. Heyman also claimed that Reigns was grooming Jey to be the next Tribal Chief. Jey nearly beat Theory for the US Title, but then his brother Jimmy accidentally superkicked Jey (when Jimmy was going for Solo) and Theory covered Jey to retain his title.

Jey Uso left last week’s Smackdown alone while it was also announced that Roman Reigns was back for tonight’s show.

On Twitter, Roman Reigns commented on how he was planning to handle some “family business” on Smackdown tonight.

With the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event coming in two weeks time on July 1st in London, England, Roman Reigns has yet to be announced for a match on that show although he will be there. There have been rumors that it might be Reigns & Solo against The Usos in a tag team match, but Reigns could also face Jimmy or even Jey in a singles match. Perhaps we will learn more on Smackdown tonight.
