Roman Reigns Fires Shot At WWE Rival Who Can’t Move On
Roman Reigns thinks one of his biggest rivals in WWE clings to him and can’t seem to move on.
The careers of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will be forever linked in WWE because they debuted together as part of The Shield at Survivor Series 2012. While Dean Ambrose has moved on to AEW as Jon Moxley, Reigns and Rollins remain two of WWE’s biggest stars who will end up in the Hall of Fame many years from now.
During the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Reigns and Rollins were at it again since CM Punk dumped both of them from the match at the same time. While Punk was admiring his eliminations, Logan Paul eliminated Punk from the match. The action continued on the floor with Reigns yelling at Punk while Rollins took advantage by delivering The Stomp to Reigns on the floor. Rollins also hit The Stomp on Reigns on the steel steps.
After the attack by Rollins, WWE announced that Reigns was injured and would be out for the foreseeable future.
That injury announcement was done to write Roman Reigns out of WWE storylines going into Elimination Chamber since he’s not going to be in a match at that show.
Roman Reigns Considers Himself Different From Seth Rollins
As one of the cover athletes for the WWE 2K25 video game, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline stable that he led will be heavily featured in the game. That’s not a shock since The Bloodline story dominated WWE storylines for over four years while also involving many top stars in the company.
The “Original Tribal Chief” Reigns was featured in an IGN video of WWE 2K25 watching a Bloodline playthrough of the game. While watching the game that also featured his former Shield ally Rollins, Reigns trashed Seth for not being able to move on with his life.
“He’s like a stage five clinger, just holding on because he can’t move on with his life. Me, I created so much, a beautiful empire where we have pretty much everything. That’s what they do, they all come back. He’s just holding on, man.”
Regarding his WWE future, Roman Reigns is set for a huge match at WrestleMania 41 against Seth Rollins and CM Punk although plans can always change on the road to WrestleMania.
