Roman Reigns Shocks WWE With Unexpected Non-Wrestling Decision
Roman Reigns returned to WWE last week on RAW.
He joined CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso against the heel team of Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The two teams will fight in the upcoming men’s WarGames match.
Amidst the road to Survivor Series PLE, the WWE Universe found out that Reigns is set to work together with Punk in a non-WWE project. The two WWE stars will be the voices of zebra buddy cops in the upcoming movie Zootopia 2.
Fightful released a new report, where it was revealed that agent Nick LoPicollo and his team pitched multiple options for the zebra buddy cops to Disney, but they finalized on Reigns and Punk for the movie.
The report noted that Punk was the first one to accept the offer, and Reigns only accepted the role because his kids would love his role in the movie. The report also highlighted that WWE didn’t expect Reigns to accept the offer, but they were shocked when he did so.
Roman Reigns Eyeing Another World Title Run
Roman Reigns kicked off this week’s Monday Night RAW. But before he could cut a promo, the WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk interrupted him. There was a lot of tension between the three stars as they don’t have a pleasant history between them.
They argued over who would be the head of the team. All three stars traded taunts. As the segment came to a close, Reigns stated that the title would look better on his shoulder while talking to both Rhodes and Punk. He didn’t say which title he wants to go after.
Roman Reigns’ last title was the Undisputed WWE Championship, which ended at WrestleMania XL Night 2 on April 7, 2024, when he lost the belt to Cody Rhodes.
