Roman Reigns’ Next WWE Appearances Officially Confirmed

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is back.

Despite his incredible success, WrestleMania hasn’t been too kind to Roman Reigns in the last two years. At WrestleMania 40, he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, and 12 months later, he was betrayed by his Wiseman, Paul Heyman.

In the main event of WrestleMania Saturday, Heyman escorted Punk to the ring to do battle with Reigns and Seth Rollins. The lead-up had been dominated by indecision as Heyman struggled between his loyalty to Reigns and his love of Punk. But in the end, he turned his back on both men to align with Rollins.

On the following edition of Raw, Bron Breakker joined Rollins and Heyman, viciously taking out Reigns in the process.

Roman Reigns Is Staying On Raw

Following the assault, Reigns went on hiatus, but on July 14, he made his long-awaited return.

In the minutes after CM Punk earned a shot at Gunther and the World Heavyweight Championship, he was attacked by Breakker and Reed. Although Jey Uso tried to get involved, he was also beaten down.

This brought out Reigns, who took out Reed and Breakker to stand tall alongside Punk and Uso as the show went off the air.

It’s now been confirmed that Reigns will also feature on the July 21 and July 28 editions of Raw before appearing at SummerSlam. His opponent for the summer spectacular is yet to be confirmed, but it’s been reported for several weeks that he will wrestle at the event.
