Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul At Crown Jewel Confirmed
Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia against Logan Paul.
A report by Dave Meltzer at The Wrestling Observer was the first indication that WWE was building towards a match between the pair in Saudi Arabia, which would be at Crown Jewel on the 5th of November.
Logan Paul was in attendance for SmackDown in Anaheim, California where he went toe to toe on the microphone with Reigns’ Special Counsel Paul Heyman – an exchange that caught the attention of Jake Paul.
All of this came after Roman Reigns appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast with Paul later saying that he believes he could defeat The Tribal Chief if the two men faced off – something that didn’t sit well with Reigns.
But now Logan Paul will get to test his theory as he looks to be the man to end the two-year reign of Roman Reigns when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia with their Crown Jewel event.
The match was confirmed at a press conference held in Las Vegas by WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H.
This will be Roman Reigns’ second match in Saudi Arabia in 2022 after he defeated WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg to retain his Universal Title back in February at the Elimination Chamber which was held in the Middle East for the first time.
