Roman Reigns May Pass The Ula Fala To Major WWE Star
Could Roman Reigns name Jey Uso as his successor?
At Clash In Paris, Reigns had a singles match against Bronson Reed. The crowd on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, saw The Tribal Chief enter the arena for his match with two Ula Falas.
Usually, Reigns only wears Red Ula Fala to represent his heritage and his role as the Head of the Table. But in Paris, he wore a Black Ula Fala in addition to his Red Ula Fala to honor his father and uncle, Afa and Sika Anoa’i.
During a recent episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, a fan pointed out that Roman Reigns now has two Ula Falas and asked whether he’d give one of those to The Rock of Jey Uso. Roberts responded, saying that Reigns could hand down one of the Ula Falas to Jey. There was even chatter recently that Reigns might name Uso as his successor.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if one day Roman kind of takes that upper level and then gives one of the two Ula Falas to Jey. That I could see that I think could be
good. (From 1:09:54)
Is Jey Uso Turning Into Roman Reigns?
Jey Uso’s been giving off serious Roman Reigns energy lately, not like he’s literally turning into him, but the vibes are way too familiar. He’s locked in, ambitious, and kind of walking that fine line between confidence and arrogance, just like Reigns did during his Tribal Chief era. Even his twin brother Jimmy Uso has noticed this change. He’s worried that Jey is so focused on the top spot that he’s losing the brother he used to know.
Some fans think Reigns lowkey planted that mindset in Jey Uso, teaching him to be more ruthless and chase solo glory instead of putting family first. Others say it’s just Jey Uso evolving, taking Roman Reigns’ advice to be a top guy and maybe even the next Tribal Chief.
Either way, fans can still catch glimpses of the old Jey here and there, which makes it feel like he’s fighting himself inside, torn between who he was and who he’s becoming. Plus, his recent actions on Raw, where Jey betrayed his own brother to win the battle royal, might be a hint that he’s on the verge of a major character shift soon.
