What Roman Reigns And Top WWE Stars Are Making Per Year

A new report has shed light on the financial earnings of Roman Reigns and other top WWE superstars.

As the man who has main evented WrestleMania more times than anybody else, it’s no surprise that Roman Reigns is among the top earners in the company.

After recently turning 40 years old, Roman Reigns has settled into a role where he’s a part-timer, potentially wrestling fewer than ten matches this year. At this point, he’s only wrestled three times in 2025, with his last match coming in the WrestleMania Saturday main event.

Regarding his role in WWE, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Reigns is among the seven performers who are likely making more than $5 million to perform for WWE this year.

“As far as income goes, there are seven WWE performers earning well over $5 million per year and two others who may also hit that figure this year.

Aside from The Rock, the highest paid is [Roman] Reigns. Whatever stories that went around from Jonathan Coachman that TKO asked Reigns to take a pay cut or restructure his deal are false.”

The Rock has only wrestled one match in the 12 years (not counting a brief “match” at WrestleMania 32 that was just a Rock Bottom for the win), so he could hardly be considered an active wrestler.

There were no other names mentioned who make over $5 million per year, but WWE fans can likely guess who they are based on the top stars in the company.

Roman Reigns Will Always Be Part Of WWE

Before this year’s WrestleMania 41 main event, the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns acknowledged that there may be other things going on in his life, like a blossoming acting career, but pro wrestling will always be part of his life.

“[This business] is [in my blood]. There is nothing that I’ll ever do that will take me out of that position. I was born in this business, I’ll always be part of this business, similar to Dwayne [Johnson].

I think I’m at a point in my career where I just have to make all the right choices. You have to look at where the opportunities are and look at how you feel, where you’re at personally. What do all my hats look like?

I’m not just a wrestler, I’m not just an entertainer. I’m a husband and father as well. I have young children. There are so many different things to analyze and take into account. I just do it year by year, two years at a time, wherever we may be with whatever contract we’re in, but I don’t want to worry about five years from now when it comes to the business.”

Roman Reigns and his wife have a daughter and four young sons (two sets of twin boys), so he is a busy man outside of the WWE world and certainly could have future wrestlers in his family as well.
