Roman Reigns’ Shocking Earnings for Movie Cameo Revealed
Roman Reigns made a whopping amount of money in a recent cameo role.
Reigns began his acting career in 2019 with a significant role in the blockbuster “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” where he portrayed Mateo Hobbs, the cousin of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s character. This film marked his major entry into Hollywood, capitalizing on his WWE fame and Samoan heritage.
Following that, he took smaller roles in various genres, including a comedic appearance in 2020’s “The Wrong Missy” and voice roles in animation such as “Rumble” (2021). He has also been cast as Akuma in the upcoming 2026 live-action “Street Fighter” film.
In the 2025 Amazon MGM Studios film “The Pickup,” Roman Reigns earned a salary estimated between $500,000 and $1 million, according to FandomWire. Although his role was a short cameo as an MMA fighter, his involvement added significant star power to the movie. The film, starring Eddie Murphy and Eva Longoria, featured a high-profile cast with Murphy making approximately $20 million and Longoria between $2 to $6 million.
Roman Reigns Doesn’t Want To Leave Wrestling for Hollywood and Vice Versa
We have seen a lot of WWE stars leave their wrestling careers and move to Hollywood, like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Batista, and now John Cena. Reigns also wants to pursue an acting career, but he doesn’t want to give up wrestling. Speaking to Stephanie McMahon on her What’s Your Story podcast, The OTC revealed that he wants to balance wrestling and acting.
I wanted to be the first guy who could do both. I know John did it his way, but to really be able to do both and damn near lead a movie and also still main event a pay-per-view and have that responsibility. There’s a lot riding on that.
And I understand there’s insurances and all different things behind it but to be able to hold that type of responsibility and to be able to juggle both, I think that’s something that this generation and hopefully I’m one of the first to be able to do it. So I don’t want to stop being a WWE Superstar in order to wear other hats.
I’m always gonna be a WWE Superstar. I’m always gonna be Roman Reigns. I don’t want to ever have to choose.
