Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & CM Punk Want Same Thing On WWE SmackDown

The intensity has picked up in the WWE rivalry involving Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk.

It was at the WWE Royal Rumble in Indianapolis when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were battling by the ropes, so CM Punk decided to dump them both out of the match. Punk was admiring his eliminations, so Logan Paul dumped Punk out right after.

After the elimination, a furious Rollins attacked Reigns and hit The Stomp on Reigns on the floor. Rollins also fought with Punk on the floor. After being separated, Rollins gave Reigns another Stomp on the steel steps. That put Reigns out of action for over one month.

Roman Reigns made his return on WWE Raw in New York City when he pulled Seth Rollins out of the ring and hit him with a Superman Punch, Spear, and The Stomp on the floor. Reigns also went into the ring to beat up CM Punk, which ended with Reigns hitting a Spear.

At WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, the trio of Reigns, Rollins and Punk shared the main event spotlight.

Wild Brawl Ensues Between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & CM Punk

Roman Reigns addressed the Bologna fans by telling them what was on his mind. Reigns said last month at the Rumble, CM Punk screwed him, so last week at the Garden, Reigns screwed Punk. Reigns said last month at the Rumble, Seth Rollins tried to kill him, but last week at the Garden, he tried to kill Rollins, so that led to more “OTC” chants. At that point, Reigns invited anybody to come talk to the Original Tribal Chief aka OTC.

Seth Rollins told Reigns that he messed up because he didn’t know how dangerous CM Punk was. Rollins told Reigns that he should have let Rollins finish Punk when Seth had the chance. Rollins said that it’s not about Punk because it’s always been about Reigns and Rollins. According to Rollins, they can’t co-exist in the same space at the same time.

In Rollins’ opinion, this story has a lot of pages written and he thinks it’s about time that they added another chapter. Rollins looked ready to fight, but that’s when CM Punk arrived.

CM Punk stood on the turnbuckle with a microphone in hand. PPunk said that neither of them had ever beaten him without the other one’s help. Punk said that he didn’t screw Reigns because, in the Royal Rumble, it’s every man for himself. Punk told Reigns he saved his family’s ass in WarGames.

That’s when Punk reminded us that he is still owed a favor from Paul Heyman, but he said not now. Punk thanked Paul for delivering the Tribal Chief on a silver platter. Reigns looked at Heyman, so Punk attacked Reigns with a microphone shot to the back of the head.

The fight was on. Reigns and Punk exchanged punches. Rollins went after both guys and Rollins punched Punk repeatedly. Reigns went after Rollins with shoulder tackles against the turnbuckle. Punk and Rollins went after eachother again. There were WWE officials, referees, and security in the ring to try to break it up. Punk stood on the commentary table.

That’s when the sign pointing began. Punk told Reigns and Rollins that he’s the best in the world and Punk pointed at the WrestleMania sign. Punk pulled Reigns out of the ring. Rollins hit a suicide dive on Punk, Reigns, and the officials on the floor. Rollins pointed at both guys and pointed at the WrestleMania sign.

Reigns was back up, he hit Punk with the steel steps and Reigns hit Rollins with the steel steps. Reigns pointed at the WrestleMania sign like the other two guys. The trio of Reigns, Rollins and Punk kept fighting on the floor as officials tried to break it up. That was the end of the show.

After SmackDown, Triple H announced Reigns-Rollins-Punk is on for WrestleMania 4.
