Roman Reigns’ One Word Response To Shock WWE Royal Rumble Win

Roman Reigns has issued a one word response to Jey Uso winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

‘The Original Tribal Chief’ was amongst the hot favourites to win the annual event and secure a main event bout at WrestleMania 41 as he looks to recapture gold in the WWE.

Reigns entered the match mid way through having drawn number 16 and made quite the impression as he eliminated Bron Breakker, Sheamus, The Miz and TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry during a gruelling 37 minutes in the ring.

It wasn’t to be for the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, however, as he was thrown over the top rope by CM Punk whilst grappling with Seth Rollins. The trio look likely to face off at WrestleMania 41 after brawling on the outside of the ring shortly after, with Reigns floored after a vicious curb stomp from Rollins whilst placed upon the steel steps.

The match was eventually won by Reigns’ cousin Jey Uso, who cemented his place in history by last eliminating John Cena to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at the company’s top Premium Live Event when it arrives in Las Vegas in April.

Despite his disappointment at not winning the match himself, Reigns took to social media to celebrate Uso’s win by using the 39 year-old’s famous catchphrase:

“YEET!”

Roman Reigns Named As Cover Star For WWE2K25

Although he was not able to secure victory in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, Roman Reigns has had cause for celebration in recent days after being named as the cover star for the upcoming WWE 2K25 video game.

Reigns follows in the footsteps of the likes of Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles as the featured star of the ever-popular game whilst a new game mode called ‘The Island’ is set to focus on the entire legacy of The Bloodline.

The game will be released across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 14th
