Roman Reigns Reveals Real Reason Behind WWE Return

Roman Reigns WWE RAW

Roman Reigns had been missing in action since his loss to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel.

Having been involved in a long-standing feud with the Auszilla, an Australian Street Fight match was finalized between the two superstars at the Perth PLE.

While Reigns dominated the proceedings, Reed’s stablemate, Bron Breakker, made his presence felt in the match, forcing The Usos to reciprocate.

However, in a moment of confusion, Jey Uso accidentally speared Reigns through the table, bringing the match to a close, as Reed hit the Tsunami for a successful pinfall.

After the match, the Original Tribal Chief argued with his cousins, lambasting them for their wanton interference, stating he did not want to see them until Christmas.

On November 17, Roman Reigns returned, announcing himself as the fifth and final member of the babyfaces team in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

That same night, Brock Lesnar returned to ally with the heel team, comprising Breakker, Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre.

Roman Reigns Reveals Intention Behind His WWE Return

Roman Reigns recently sat with Jackie Redmond to discuss Survivor Series: WarGames and address his return, in general.

Redmond joked about Reigns’ Christmas dig at The Usos before asking him why he felt now was the best time for returning.

Why not? To me, I never left. I’m always 100% and I’m always just fully locked in on what should be happening at the top of the mountain. So, I’d say this is as good a time as any. Why not right now? [0:47 onwards]

Survivor Series: WarGames is an annual premium live event, where the WarGames matches are contested inside a steel cage surrounding two rings.

Two wrestlers start the match, and within a space of a few minutes, other wrestlers, too, enter the cage. The match officially begins once all ten competitors have entered the cage.

The bout can be won either by submission or fall.
