How Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman Ended WWE WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 belongs to Cody Rhodes but for every winner, there is a loser and now fans can see how Roman Reigns ended his night with Paul Heyman.

Cody Rhodes finished his story in Philadelphia as he defeated Roman Reigns to win the WWE Championship for the very first time.

Rhodes’ win came one year after Reigns defeated him in heartbreaking fashion with The Tribal Chief going on to hold the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for 1,316 days. Reigns had help from The Bloodline during the bout but their combined forces were outgunned by Jey Uso, John Cena, Seth Rollins, and The Undertaker who all came to help Cody Rhodes claim his victory.

While Rhodes was surrounded by friends, family, and WWE stars to celebrate his win, Reigns had a much quieter end to his night as he left the stage.

Footage has now emerged on social media of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman embracing at the top of the entranceway while Rhodes’ music plays throughout the stadium.

Roman Reigns is set to be absent from WWE for quite some time following WrestleMania. It remains to be seen what that means for The Bloodline and if The Rock will step in to fill his shoes.
