Roman Reigns Out? Triple H Subtly Confirms Major Shift In WWE Plans
Triple H has seemingly confirmed a change in WWE’s plans for Roman Reigns.
The Original Tribal Chief teamed up with his cousin, Jey Uso, to defeat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team match at SummerSlam. Last week, the former Undisputed WWE Champion rushed to the aid of LA Knight and CM Punk as they were getting beaten up by The Vision on Monday Night RAW.
However, Reigns’ night did not end well. Instead of rescuing The Second City Saint and The Megastar, The Original Tribal Chief fell victim to a brutal beatdown by the faction, receiving three Tsunamis from Reed. The Tribal Thief even stole Reigns’ sneakers for a second time.
After last week’s RAW, fans and experts wondered if the vicious attack on Roman Reigns was to write him off television. However, reports later suggested the 40-year-old was booked for Clash in Paris. Hence, he was not written off TV. A poster featuring Reigns for Clash in Paris was also dropped, seemingly confirming his participation in the PLE.
Did Triple H Change Plans For Roman Reigns At Clash In Paris?
After last week’s Monday Night RAW, several people predicted that Reigns would team up with Punk and Knight to square off with The Vision at Clash in Paris. However, that scenario was put to rest on tonight’s episode of the red brand.
After Seth Rollins interfered to attack Punk during a tag team match in which The Second City Saint aligned with The Megastar against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, Jey Uso rushed to Knight and Punk’s rescue.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce then interfered to announce a World Heavyweight Championship match for Clash in Paris, where Rollins would defend his title against Punk, Uso, and Knight in an unexpected twist.

This direction seems like a subtle confirmation that Roman Reigns might miss the premium live event despite being advertised for the show, as Triple H has apparently replaced him with his cousin, Jey Uso. It would be interesting to see if that would truly be the case.
