Roman Reigns Not Advertised For Huge WWE Show

Roman Reigns

Despite being the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and WWE’s biggest star, it doesn’t look like Roman Reigns will be heading to the UK later in the year.

WWE brought their first premium live event in 30 years to the UK when Clash at the Castle emanated from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales in September 2022. That event saw Roman Reigns cling on to his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Drew McIntyre thanks to Solo Sikoa.

On the 5th of January WWE revealed that they are bringing one of their staple events to the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday, the 1st of July 2023, but this time it doesn’t look like Roman Reigns will be making the trip.

Advertising for the event has highlighted Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens for the show with those six stars appearing on the event poster. The card is always subject to change and Reigns could still appear in London but many questions will be asked with The Tribal Chief missing from the initial promotion given that tickets have begun their pre-sale.

Cody Rhodes takes on Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39 for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship while Bianca Belair will defend her Raw Women’s Title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair puts her SmackDown Women’s Title on the line against Rhea Ripley.
