Roman Reigns’ New WWE Name Confirmed After Return

Roman Reigns WWE

Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming with much aplomb.

It was, however, not limited just to his physical presence, as the six-time world champion arrived with a new moniker.

As the leader of the Bloodline on SmackDown, Reigns assumed the title of “Head of the Table” before becoming the “OTC” or “Original Tribal Chief” post-Solo Sikoa’s betrayal.

On the July 14 episode of RAW, he wore a t-shirt with OTC1 inscribed on it.

WrestleVotes had recently reported on WWE’s plans to come up with a new moniker for Roman Reigns.

This was confirmed after WWE Shop displayed his new merchandise, a t-shirt that read OTC1. Also in the collection is a custom “Undisputed Tribal Chief” championship belt.

Roman Reigns Returns To Save Jey Uso And CM Punk

With SummerSlam just two weeks away, reports about Roman Reigns’ return dominated the wrestling industry.

During the latest RAW taping, Bron Breakker faced CM Punk, Jey Uso, Penta, and LA Knight in a gauntlet match.

Breakker won against Penta, Knight, and Uso, but lost to Punk, thus also relinquishing a guaranteed title shot versus Gunther at SummerSlam.

An irate Breakker then attacked Punk and Uso along with Bronson Reed, with the former taking out Uso with a Spear.

This prompted OTC1 to arrive before more damage could be inflicted.

He immediately went on the offense, attacking Breakker and then laying out Reed with a Spear of his own.

The segment ended with him helping up his cousin Jey and staring down at CM Punk, as the fans erupted into ‘Roman Reigns’ chants.
