Roman Reigns Picks Favourite Moment Of His WWE Career
Roman Reigns knows what his favourite moment has been during his WWE career.
It has been 13 years since Roman Reigns joined the WWE main roster. During that time, Reigns has faced off against the best superstars in the company, such as Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, his cousin Jey Uso, and numerous others.
For an all-time great wrestler like Reigns, it isn’t easy to narrow his career down to a few moments as the best of them all.
When ESPN asked Reigns about the favorite moment of his WWE career, the Original Tribal Chief went with his incredible reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
“My 1,316-day title reign. I can’t just pick one, there were so many moments in that. Just that reign alone is unprecedented.”
That incredible title reign started in August 2020 when Reigns won the Universal Title match in a triple threat with Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman.
Along the way, Roman Reigns added the WWE Championship to his collection when he beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in 2022. The two titles were eventually merged into one, which effectively ended the Universal Title, and WWE created a new World Heavyweight Title in 2023.
That Undisputed WWE Universal Title reign saw Reigns lead The Bloodline while also having many memorable title defenses. That reign ended at WrestleMania 40 when Cody Rhodes beat Reigns to win the gold and end Roman’s reign at 1,316 days.
Roman Reigns Returning To WWE TV On The Road To Clash In Paris
In a big tag team match at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns and cousin Jey Uso were victorious over Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. However, that wasn’t the end of Roman’s rivalry with the Seth Rollins-led group known as The Vision.
On the Raw after SummerSlam, Roman Reigns went after Rollins, Reed, and Breakker, but it didn’t go well for the Original Tribal Chief. The Vision laid out LA Knight and CM Punk before Reigns arrived, and they took out Reigns too. Rollins hit Reigns with The Stomp when Reigns wasn’t looking. That was followed by a Spear by Breakker and Reed hit his Tsunami splash on Reigns as well. Reed, who likes to call himself the Tribal Thief, even took Roman’s shoes for the second time.
The good news for Reigns is that he’s scheduled to return to WWE Raw on August 18th and August 25th. Reigns is also likely to be part of the Clash in Paris card on August 31st, with a recent report noting that plans have changed because the OTC will be part of Clash In Paris.
It’s not yet known if Reigns will be in a singles match at Clash in Paris against Rollins, Breakker, or Reed, or perhaps another tag team match. Tune into Raw in the weeks ahead to find out.
