A WWE legend isn’t impressed with Roman Reigns.

At Clash In Paris, Roman Reigns finally got revenge on Bronson Reed, defeating him in a wild match to open the show.

The pair had been trying to take each other out for several weeks, with Reed developing a knack for stealing Reigns’ shoes. To add to Reigns’ anger, Reed, along with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, is now under the guidance of the former Wise Man, Paul Heyman.

After the match, Heyman acknowledged Reigns, but only got locked in a guillotine choke for his troubles.

On the following episode of Raw, it was announced that Paul Heyman had suffered a “larynx contusion” at the hands of Reigns.

Paul Heyman Still Struggling After Roman Reigns’ Attack

On the latest edition of ESPN First Take, Heyman made his first appearance since being attacked by Reigns. While backing up his new charge, Seth Rollins, Heyman said that he’s worried the injuries he suffered at the hands of Reigns may be permanent.

“They went public saying that I had a scratched larynx or something like that, but here’s the thing, Roman Reigns choked me out so hard – if you take a look right here, I busted all these blood vessels in my eye, take a look at my eye. I don’t know if it’s permanent damage or not.

“And that’s… you can think anything you want about what WWE is. It’s like, there’s no real coffee in the coffee cup here, but it’s there for optics. And my optics are affected.”

Roman Reigns remains absent from WWE television after being attacked by Reed and Breakker in the wake of that win in Paris. The former World Champion was written out due to filming for the new Street Fighter movie.
