Roman Reigns May Face WWE Legend In “Super Match”

What happens when Roman Reigns comes back? This question has been haunting the WWE Universe.

The OTC hasn’t been on WWE TV since the RAW after WrestleMania, and fans are eagerly waiting to know which superstar he goes after.

Some of the names in speculation are Solo Sikoa, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and maybe even Cody Rhodes at some point.

Roman Reigns returning match needs make an impact

The strongest speculation is that The OTC will pursue Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. However, a baby face Roman Reigns vs. a heel John Cena will be a complete contrast to what fans saw during The Bloodline era.

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts explained how WWE can focus on the pre-Bloodline history to connect the entire rivalry of Cena and Reigns.

Roman Reigns’ whole story has been that people don’t like him for what he was in The Bloodline. I think if we are going to get over that hump, then maybe Roman Reigns needs to show up and be like, ‘Hey, John. Remember when, like, you passed the torch to me, but on our entire way there, you made me look like a total idiot? Hey, John. Remember when, like, we had that match when you were leaving and I was going to be the guy but you made sure I looked like a total turd on the entire way to that match? And thought I was just enough to win that match? I didn’t forget it’.

Maybe you play into that history. The pre-Bloodline history of Roman Reigns and John Cena. And you build a super match with Roman Reigns and John Cena.

Apart from that, if Cody Rhodes turns heel ahead of Reigns’ return, the global juggernaut can create a story out of that as well.
