Roman Reigns’ Honest Confession About WWE Future: “It’s Happening To Me”

Roman Reigns admitted that times have changed in WWE ahead of Survivor Series 2025.

Paul Heyman served on The Original Tribal Chief’s side for nearly five years before betraying him at WrestleMania 41 to align with Seth Rollins.

Since then, The Oracle has formed The Vision alongside The Visionary, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. While the group had turned on the former World Heavyweight Champion, Heyman remained by Breakker and Reed’s side.

In an exclusive interview with Jackie Redmond ahead of WWE Survivor Series, Reigns was asked about the rise of new stars, such as Breakker and Reed, and whether that threatens his position in the company.

The former Undisputed WWE Champion recalled his rise as a young talent going after Brock Lesnar, admitting that the same is happening to him now.

I think it’s just the circle of life in WWE. 10 years ago, I was the young guy. Brock Lesnar was the top of the mountain, and I was trying to know him off that peg. Years later, it’s happening to me. It’s a shark tank. Everybody wants what you have. And I’d say right now, whether I have a title or not, everybody wants what The Tribal Chief has. [1:33 onwards]

Roman Reigns Will Compete Tonight At WWE Survivor Series 2025

Roman Reigns is set to team up with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, and The Usos to square off with Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, and The Vision in a WarGames match tonight at Survivor Series.

In his interview with Jackie Redmond, The Original Tribal Chief disclosed why he believes his team will emerge victorious.

It’s like assembling a bunch of mercenaries. If anything, they have a bunch of guys who are gonna be fighting and working for themselves when hopefully, on my side, we have a bunch of smart men who understand there’s a role for everybody, and you should play it.
