Roman Reigns May Face 17-Time Champion At WWE WrestleMania 42
Roman Reigns needs to finish his story with Seth Rollins before he retires from WWE.
The OTC has already revealed that he will soon retire to move to a less physical form of entertainment. In fact, he has been taking breaks from WWE to work in movies and build his Hollywood career.
Before he hangs up his boots, he must finish the story with The Visionary and The Vision, especially since his rivalry with Rollins has been building for over a decade.
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins is a strong possibility for WrestleMania 42
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer speculated that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will lock horns at WrestleMania 42. However, he will continue to work a rivalry with The Vision through WarGames 2025.
It’s possible… and I think they’re building to Rollins and Reigns at WrestleMania.
Alvarez: I think they are too but not this winter, they got a long way to go.
There is no Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins match before, at the earliest, January, and I doubt January because I’m sure they’ll both be in the Royal Rumble. So, I think it’s probably WrestleMania 42, just as a guess… but Roman’s definitely doing the San Diego show [Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29], but he’s not in a singles match in San Diego, so he’s in the WarGames, unless they change, so… it’s possible. It’s possible in the sense of they could have all those guys, right? And jump Roman, [then go with] Roman, and Jey, and Jimmy, like they did last year, going against Bronson Reed [and The Vision] in kind of a similar match to last year, so he could lose [at Crown Jewel]. He could lose with lots of interference, sure.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns last clashed at WrestleMania 41 in a Triple Threat Match with CM Punk. Paul Heyman betrayed both Punk and Reigns at the event to side with Seth Rollins. The story has gathered much momentum and needs to have a climactic moment at The Grandest Stage of All.
