When Roman Reigns Is Expected Back In WWE After Sick Attack
Roman Reigns was taken out in a big way at Clash In Paris, but when should WWE fans expect to see him again?
At Clash In Paris, Roman Reigns got his chance at revenge on Bronson Reed after attacks in recent weeks. Reed has targeted the OTC, laying him out and stealing his shoes to rub salt in the wounds.
Reigns got the upper hand on Reed in France as he picked up a huge win, but the story was far from over. After the match, Roman Reigns got his hands on his former Wise Man, Paul Heyman, but Heyman soon had help. Bron Breakker attacked Reigns, laying him out with a huge spear. Breakker and Reed picked apart Reigns, with Reed nailing him several Tsunamis.
WWE offered a medical update on Roman Reigns after the attack, but the real reason for his absence has been revealed, and it seems he’ll be off WWE TV for several weeks.
Roman Reigns Filming Street Fighter
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Reigns is about to start filming on the Street Fighter movie, which should keep him off WWE screens for around a month:
Roman Reigns is filming Street Fighter. So it is an injury angle for him until he’s done filming, which is gonna be, I think, a week after the next pay-per-view, roughly. So it was a way to write him out for the next month, four weeks.
In theory, this means Roman Reigns could be back in action for Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, but WWE might choose to keep his big comeback for Survivor Series in November.
