Roman Reigns Supports Donald Trump As US President

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has opened up about his political views with his unfiltered on the American President, Donald Trump.

The 47th President of the United States of America is the same as the 45th President: Donald Trump. The WWE Hall of Famer won the Presidential election last November and has been in the headlines a lot since his Presidency began in late January.

It is nearly impossible to go anywhere in the world without hearing Trump’s name due to the tariffs he has enforced and threatened to enforce on many countries around the world.

Many celebrities oftentimes don’t talk about politics because they know it might upset some of their fans. However, former WWE Champion Roman Reigns wasn’t shy about giving his opinions.

The “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns was the focus of a feature story in Vanity Fair where it was noted that Reigns is a registered Democrat, but he also commented on why he supports the Republican President, Donald Trump.

“I support our president. Trump is one of those guys where he’s got a vast history and a huge background. He’s been in entertainment. He’s been in big business, politics. At this point, I’m supporting a bright future for our country. Positive and competent leadership. For us to be what we’re supposed to be—to be a world leader and carry that respect and do what a world power like us should be doing.”

While Reigns supports Trump, it was noted in the article that Reigns doesn’t support Trumps need to have grievances with political rivals.

“It’s like he needs that adversary. He needs that opposition to bounce off of. He needs that competitive motivation or something.”

“To be honest, the world seems to be more like wrestling than any other form of entertainment.”

Roman Reigns Planning Future After WWE

For a record 10th time in his 13-year WWE career, Roman Reigns will be in the WrestleMania 41 main event on April 19th when he faces CM Punk and Seth Rollins. While there is no title up for grabs in the match, Reigns has said it’s the main event because of his involvement.

Regarding his future, Reigns mentioned in the same Vanity Far article referenced above that he plans to pursue an acting career after a few more years in WWE.

“After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max. Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment.”

The article stated that Roman’s current WWE deal expires shortly after Wrestlemania 42 in 2026. Based on his comments, that would mean he could be moving from WWE around WrestleMania 44 in 2028. Reigns will turn 40 years old on May 25th.
