Roman Reigns’ Cousin Destined To Join WWE, Claims Ex-Champion

A family member of Roman Reigns “would fit on the WWE roster extremely well,” according to a former superstar.

The Bloodline storyline, featuring Roman Reigns and several members of his family, was a significant factor in WWE’s growth over the last five years.

Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE has gone on to have more stadium shows and more international shows than ever before, thanks in part to The Bloodline being featured heavily across all WWE programming.

Roman Reigns thrived as “The Tribal Chief,” a heel character that Paul Heyman has claimed should have been nominated for an Emmy Award due to Reigns’ exceptional performance in the role.

While The Bloodline featured Roman Reigns in the lead role, his cousins The Usos have also grown a lot, as has their younger brother Solo Sikoa, and other members of the extended family.

Zilla Fatu is the son of the late, great WWE superstar Umaga, whose real name is Eddie Fatu. Umaga is Roman Reigns’ cousin, and he was also the man who helped The Usos begin their training as pro wrestlers.

Matt Riddle, a former WWE superstar who has been in the ring with Zilla, praised the 26-year-old heavily while talking to TMZ Sports, making it clear that Fatu would be a good fit for WWE.

“Zilla, I think, is an incredible talent. The guy’s got the look, the vibe, the lineage – it’s just a matter of time before they make the right decision and bring him on board, ya know.

But right now, Zilla is killing it all over the indies; he’s booked everywhere, and dude, I’ve wrestled him. He’s not small. He’s a big boy, so he would fit on the WWE roster extremely well.”

As for Zilla himself, he has made it clear that while WWE is a goal of his, he still feels he has a long way to go as a wrestler, so he doesn’t appear to be in any rush.

Roman Reigns Believes The Bloodline Has A Lot Left In WWE

While Roman Reigns isn’t currently involved in a storyline involving The Bloodline, Reigns did pick up a victory at SummerSlam when he teamed up with Jey Uso to beat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Regarding the future of The Bloodline, Roman Reigns said in November 2024 that they are always planning storylines for down the line.

“People laughed at us a while back when I don’t know if it was me or Paul mentioned the baseball innings thing. There was maybe a year ago or so that we were stretching it, but we’re not at this point. It’s a whole new vision.

I forget where I was driving today but just kind of visualizing what it could be in the next two years, what could be in the next three years. Blocking these things off just a year chunk at a time.”

The “Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns will return to WWE television on the August 18th and August 25th episodes of WWE Monday Night Raw. The return of Reigns should lead to a match at Clash in Paris on August 31st since he is advertised for the Premium Live Event.
