Roman Reigns Shuts Down Jey Uso Critics, Drops Title Chase Tease

Roman Reigns has dropped a major tease while defending his cousin, Jey Uso, against critics on WWE RAW.

Main Event Jey Uso captured the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career earlier this year at WrestleMania 41. However, he lost it to Gunther a few weeks later on RAW.

The former Bloodline member will now have another chance to recapture the title when he battles Seth Rollins, LA Knight, and CM Punk in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Clash in Paris.

During his opening promo tonight on WWE RAW, Roman Reigns addressed the critics of his cousin, Jey Uso, when fans chanted for him. The OTC stated that he is proud of his cousin and believes he deserves the title shot. Meanwhile, he made it clear that his time will come, seemingly teasing going after the World Heavyweight Title.

I’m extremely proud of Jey and anybody questioning him about being in the fatal 4way in paris, you’re wrong. He won our match. He scored the pin fall. He has a rematch clause. He’s the one supposed to fight for the title. My time will come.

Roman Reigns Will Fight Bronson Reed At WWE Clash In Paris

While Jey Uso will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris, Roman Reigns will go head-to-head against The Vision’s Bronson Reed.

Tonight on RAW, the two engaged in a massive brawl that required security to break them up. That came after both superstars vowed to beat each other up in the French capital.

It would be interesting to see if Uso and Reigns could leave Paris victorious.
