Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes Exchange Threats On WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have come face-to-face in a city both men lay claim to as their uneasy alliance threatens to collapse before WWE Bad Blood.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team together at Bad Blood as they look to put their past behind them to take out the threat of The Bloodline. Rhodes and Reigns will put their combined might to work against Solo Sikoa and his personal enforcer, Jacob Fatu.

WWE advertised that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns had met at Georgia Tech University with the meeting airing on SmackDown and giving some insight into the fragility of their alliance.

Reigns was driven onto the field where he used to play football in a fleet of black SUVs while the WWE Champion arrived in his home city in a white sports car alone.

Roman Reigns Has Cody Rhodes’ Back

Roman Reigns told Cody Rhodes that The Bloodline had taken everything for him so for the first time in a long time he had nothing to lose as he noted the situation is lose/lose for Rhodes. Cody Rhodes reminded him of what he told him long ago that one day Reigns would be a chief without a tribe.

Reigns asked Rhodes directly what he wanted from him and The American Nightmare simply wanted to know if Reigns had his back so he could have his. Roman Reigns acknowledged that he did have Rhodes’ back but warned he was “taking back what is mine” when all was said and done to which Rhodes retorted that it was no longer Reigns’ to take.
