Roman Reigns And CM Punk Mentoring Rising WWE Star
Roman Reigns and CM Punk are working to help the next generation.
Before he even arrived on television the hype around Bron Breakker was building. Not only is he the son of Rick Steiner, but there were hints and teases he was impressing in training and a feeling was building he could be heading for big things.
Less than a year after beginning training with WWE, Breakker was on NXT television, and less than four months later he was NXT Champion. By the time he moved to the main roster in February 2024, Breakker was a two-time champion, former Tag Team Champion, and winner of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Powered by a heel turn, Breakker became one of the most dominant stars in the company, and that run continued on SmackDown and then on Raw following the draft.
Roman Reigns Doing His Bit To Help Bron Breakker
Speaking in a new interview with Chris Vannini on Getting Over, Breakker discussed his rapid rise and hopes for the future. During the conversation, the star was asked whether anyone in the locker room had been a mentor to him before he sang the praises of Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman.
“Roman Reigns has been really great. Paul Heyman. The locker room has really welcomed me with open arms. Any kind of questions or anything I’ve had. CM Punk is another one. Everybody has been extremely welcoming of me, willing to help, and excited for me. Everybody wants to see everybody do well and succeed. It’s a cool thing,”
Bron Breakker recently challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title at Money in the Bank, although he was unsuccessful. However, it seems he’s far from done with Zayn, after getting involved with his match against Ilja Dragunov on Raw.
