Roman Reigns Allegedly Still Has Heat With 2-Time WWE Champion
Roman Reigns may still be fixated on a past rivalry.
Since CM Punk’s return to WWE in November 2023, Reigns has clashed with him on several occasions.
An incident that might have spurred him the most was when his Wiseman, Paul Heyman, chose to align with Punk around 2024 WarGames, leaving Reigns in a lurch.
Their rivalry further escalated when Punk eliminated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins simultaneously during the 2025 Royal Rumble, resulting in a brawl between the two outside the ring.
And the incidents of WrestleMania 41 might have been the final nail in the coffin, when Heyman betrayed both Reigns and Punk to join Seth Rollins.
During a recent episode of Notsam Wrestling, host Sam Roberts discussed Reigns’ future after he returned from a brief hiatus on RAW this week.
Who is Roman Reigns without that championship? Well, on one end, he’s motivated by revenge. He’s Charles Bronson. He’s going out there, ironically, and going right for Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins, and anybody that’s wronged him.
I think CM Punk is still on that list, too, because at no point has Roman ever, ever, even slightly hinted at the idea of being okay with CM Punk. [15:40 onwards]
Roman Reigns Reunites With OG Bloodline Members
Roman Reigns returned to WWE for the first time since Clash in Paris, when he was taken out by The Vision members, resulting in him being hospitalized.
On the September 29 taping of RAW, The Usos faced Bron Breakker and Bonson Reed in a Tornado Match.
In the closing minutes, Reigns appeared with a steel chair in hand, and took out both Breakker and Reed.
After the match, he interacted with Jey Uso, much to the dismay of Jimmy Uso, who believes Roman Reigns is not a positive influence for his twin.
Reigns also broke his silence after his shocking return.
