ROH Supercard Of Honor Confirmed For WrestleMania Weekend
The next big ROH show has now been confirmed with Supercard of Honor heading to Philadelphia for WrestleMania weekend.
As announced on AEW Dynamite in Tulsa, OK, Tony Khan will be bringing Ring of Honor to the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA on Friday, April 5th – one day before the two-day WrestleMania takes place in Lincoln Financial Field. Tickets for ROH’s show go on sale on Saturday, 24th of February.
Supercard of Honor has long had a history of taking place over WrestleMania weekend that stretches back before Tony Khan’s ownership of the company. In 2019, the event saw Ring of Honor combine forces with New Japan Pro Wrestling to present the G1 Supercard which emanated from Madison Square Garden.
What Does ROH Have In Store For Supercard Of Honor?
2023’s Supercard of Honor took place in the Galen Center in Los Angeles and was headlined by Claudio Castagnoli successfully defending his ROH World Championship against Eddie Kingston. The Lucha Bros won the vacant ROH Tag Team Championship on that show with those titles being vacated after Jay Briscoe tragically died in a car accident.
It is not yet known how fans around the world will be able to watch the show with 2023’s Supercard airing on pay-per-view. Ring of Honor’s last major event in December 2023, Final Battle, aired exclusively on HonorClub so it remains to be seen if that will be the case come April.
