ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 Results
The Ring of Honor brand presented the Death Before Dishonor PPV on a show that featured two new ROH champions.
The 2024 edition of ROH’s Death Before Dishonor PPV took place at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas just outside of Dallas.
Like most AEW/ROH PPV events, there were a lot of matches with nine of them taking place on the main card and four pre-show matches.
It was Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman on commentary for the show.
Here are the results from the pre-show.
* MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) defeated Spanish Announce Project (Angélico and Serpentico) by pinfall. It was Mason & Mansoor’s debut match for the promotion.
* Marina Shafir defeated Angelica Risk by submission.
* The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo) (with Trish Adora) defeated Griff Garrison and Anthony Henry (with Maria Kanellis) by pinfall.
* Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) defeated The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) (with Erica Leigh) by pinfall.
It was onto the main PPV card from there.
Match #1: The Beast Mortos defeated Komander (with Alex Abrahantes) by pinfall.
Match #2: The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) (c) defeated The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii) by pinfall to retain the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
Match #3: Leyla Hirsch defeated Diamante in a Texas Deathmatch.
Match #4: Lee Moriarty defeated Wheeler Yuta by pinfall to win the ROH Pure Championship.
Match #5: Red Velvet defeated Billie Starkz by pinfall to win the ROH Women’s TV Championship.
Match #6: The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich) and Dustin Rhodes (with Kevin Von Erich) defeated The Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds) by pinfall.
That win means that The Von Erichs and Rhodes will face The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett for the vacant ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles at AEW Battle of the Belts XI.
Match #7: Atlantis Jr. defeated Lio Rush, Shane Taylor, Brian Cage, Lee Johnson, and Johnny TV (with Taya Valkyrie) by pinfall in a Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World TV Championship.
Match #8: Athena defeated Queen Aminata by pinfall to retain the ROH Women’s World Championships. Athena has held the ROH Women’s Title for 595 days.
Who Won ROH Death Before Dishonor’s Main Event?
The ninth and final match at Death Before Dishonor saw Mark Briscoe defend the ROH World Championship against Roderick Strong. This match took place just two days after Briscoe was in the brutal AEW Blood & Guts Match on AEW Dynamite in Nashville.
Match #9: Mark Briscoe (c) defeated Roderick Strong (with Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) by pinfall to retain the ROH World Championship.
